Hello pals, i just thought i should make a quick post about something i feel may have denied many qualified people the job opportunities they so desire even when it was obvious that they where qualified for it.
If you have been been job applicant before, you will understand that the way your cv is presented could be major determining factor as to weather you are offered a Job or not.
here are a couple of tips i think you should consider when writing your cv which would most likely help you create an iresistable CV.
1. Your CV Must be Brief.
Don't go putting information that is not needed on you cv. it just pisses off and makes who ever is supposed to go through your cv, get tired and probably not read it to the very end.
As a rule of Thumb, make sure your cv is not more than two pages long.
2. Include Only work Experiences Relevant To The Post You Are Applying For.
Most people make the mistake of producing just one cv and then including every single qualification the have on it, and then they mass produce it and just send it to every and any employer that request for their cv.
Produce a seperate cv with the relevant qualifications for the organization you want to work with.
3. Let Your Objective Be Precise and Correspond to the Post You Are Applying For.
This is just kinda similar in explanation to the second point stated above, basically your objective tells the employer why he should hire you, i.e "how would hiring you make him more money" and there is no way you could have the same objective on you cv for every single organization you are intrested in working with simply because your job descriptions would not all be the same.
4. Let Your Objective Be Brief
Now that we've gotten a better understanding of point 3, you should also bare in mind that your job objective has to be as brief as possible, generally,it shouldn't be more than 3 to 4 lines maximum.
